In Protexceed® and Glycosalt, Verbio life chemicals offers two innovative solutions for modern, sustainable animal nutrition. Protexceed® impresses with its high nutrient availability and digestibility, thereby supporting stable physical development. Glycosalt specifically supplements the sodium balance and improves feed palatability thanks to the natural sweetness of the glycerin it contains.
Cattle
In cattle farming, Glycosalt ensures a stable sodium supply and at the same time promotes feed intake, especially in stress-prone periods such as lactation or during heat waves. The product range for cattle is supplemented by our Protexceed®, which is ideal for rearing and high-intensity periods due to its good digestibility.
Pigs
Due to their comparatively high energy requirements, pigs benefit particularly from a constant supply of energy and easily digestible protein. Protexceed® from Verbio provides high-quality amino acids and is an extremely efficient solution for the nutrition of weaned piglets. Feeding trials have shown higher feed efficiency, lower feed conversion rates, and greater weight gain after weaning. The optimized nutrient composition specifically supports physiological needs during the sensitive weaning phase. Glycosalt's sweet taste can boost feed intake during sensitive phases.
Aquaculture
High-quality protein sources are essential for fish. As an innovative plant-based nutrient source, Protexceed® is a promising alternative to conventional protein sources in aquaculture. The application has been successfully tested on rainbow trout and salmon. In both species, the protein concentrate showed excellent results in feed conversion. It contains no anti-nutritional ingredients that would negatively affect the animals' nutrient absorption or intestinal health. Its digestibility exceeds 90% even surpassing that of high-quality fish meal. The protein concentrate provides a high-quality plant-based nutrient source for animal feed.
Pets
Protexceed® performs impressively in pet nutrition in terms of quality and palatability. Feeding trials confirm that dogs enjoy it just as much as they would animal protein sources. This shows that its perceived tastiness remains unchanged. In terms of feed quantity and protein digestibility, the new formula also exhibits comparable results to poultry meal, making it a suitable and balanced component for high-quality dog food products.
